BMW says the i8 Roadster will be produced in 2018 a statement coming out of BMW CEO Harald Krueger told a press conference in Santa Monica, California.
Combined with the three-cylinder turbo petrol engine light fettled 1.5-liter, front-synchronous electric motor mount is claimed to provide i8 facelifted with a boost of more than 10% in power over the current model, the 2018 i8 lift output to around 420bhp.
Besides BMW will use a battery and electric motor that is more powerful than the i8.
